SBP Ensures Functioning of ATMs by Setting Up Customer Facilitation Centers

Banking Services Corporation of The State Bank of Pakistan has finally set up service centers for customer facilitation at all its 16 field offices. By doing this SBP wants to make sure functioning of (ATMs) of commercial banks across the country, smooth and uninterrupted especially during Eid-ul-Azha holidays, according to a statement, reported The News on Thursday.

A spokesperson for the central bank confirmed that these customer facilitation centers will receive complaints from general public regarding complaints of ATMs and will align resources to get the issue fixed on priority basis.

These customer facilitation centers will be operational from 9am to 5:30pm on all working days including Eid-ul-Azha holidays.

SBP Officials have advised people to lodge their complaints relating to the non-functioning of the automated teller machines (ATMs) in their locality from 9am to 5:30pm during all working days including Eid-ul Azha holidays at the SBP BSC field offices, it added.
