Muharram Security: Ban on Mobile Services in Karachi and Quetta is Likely

Citing security reasons in Muharram-ul-Haram the government of Pakistan is looking forward to ban mobile services in Karachi and Quetta, Geo News reported.

Interior Minister, Rehman Malik, in a statement announced that mobile services might get blocked if needed.

Malik said, his ministry, had re information that motorcycles would be used in terrorist attacks at public places, therefore motorcycles are not allowed tomorrow.
  
Malik said the government is also considering to shut down mobile phone services in Karachi and Quetta. A decision to this effect would be made on Friday morning.

Moreover, markets in both the cities have also been directed to conduct business only between from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Friday.

No market in both the cities will be allowed to open before 10:00 AM and after 5:00 PM
