Mobile Phone Between Pakistan and India - Cellular Services to Start likely

Saturday, November 10, 2012

India and Pakistan will have Mobile Services started out between them soon. This could be amazing for both Pakistanis and Indians
In this regard, the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Commerce was informed on Thursday that The Ministry of Information Technology has agreed to allow mobile phone services between Pakistan and India but certain issues have to be settled, reported Dawn.
The committee expressed displeasure over the lack of modern communication facilities between the two countries.
“I have a sales outlet in Amritsar but one of the most serious problems is that we only have landline between India and Pakistan,” MNA Sheeren Arshad Khan said.
Commerce Secretary Munir Qureshi said the “main hitch is technical linkages between the telecom companies of India and Pakistan as they too have to get approvals from parent companies or their boards”. Several members said security concerns on both sides were also an obvious issue.

  2. Ask India to free Kashmir, Free Balochistan, stop training terrorists from Delhi, Afghanistan for Pakistan. Then we can talk something like "piece" with them.
